The exhibition "Plečnik Award 2024: Artifacts" was on view at the Plečnik House from May 20 to June 9, 2024.
The exhibition "Plečnik Award 2024: Artifacts" presents the award-winning works through the project’s central concept. This is materialized through selected fragments that represent the central theme of the creative process or the architectural object. Unlike conventional architectural exhibitions, the Artifacts exhibition does not concern itself with an objective presentation of architecture and its physical absence in the exhibition spaces, but rather the opposite—it physically embodies the ideas of the award-winning project-based, theoretical, and social architectural practices through the exhibited elements in Plečnik House.
The exhibition was curated by Aljoša Dekleva and Maja Vardjan.
