NEW WEB PAGE

THE JOŽE PLEČNIK FOUNDATION HAS A NEW WEBSITE

The Jože Plečnik Fund unveiled its new visual identity to the public this year; all key graphic elements were first presented at the spring ceremony for the 2025 Plečnik Awards. We are wrapping up the year with the launch of a new website at plecnikovsklad.si.

The website is designed as the Foundation’s portal, whose core mission is the annual presentation of the Plečnik Awards. In the future, the Fund will expand the scope of its activities and also take on other, particularly coordinating roles in the field of research, preservation, and promotion of Plečnik’s work, as well as its adaptation through contemporary architectural practices.

The website is designed to serve multiple purposes:

  • as an informational platform for the Foundation’s activities, where current news and announcements are published in chronological order;
  • as an archive of past Plečnik Awards, including awardees, juries, and award ceremonies. The archive is currently being expanded with the aim of providing a comprehensive and retrospective content organization dating back to the first Plečnik Award presented in 1973, and will be available to the public for informational and research purposes;
  • as an operational tool during the call for entries and the judging of the Plečnik Awards, as the digital application form allows applicants to easily submit their entries, remote work for the jury, and access to verified data and graphic materials for public communication during post-production for editors, curators, and public relations representatives;
  • as an overview of the Fund’s formal operations, including information on members, the board of directors, applicable legal acts, and contact details.

The graphic design of the Jože Plečnik Fund was created by studio Ljudje, while the technical development of the website was designed by vkDesign.

We invite you to visit the News section, where two calls for applications are currently open: for the 2026 Plečnik Awards and for the presidency of the Jože Plečnik Fund for the next four-year term.

We look forward to your visits, participation, and applications!
